ALAN SHARPE                                       (Sub-camp Chief - Scouts)

I have been a Scout Leader for the last 20 years and am currently District Scout Leader.  I live in Boston, Lincolnshire, and am married with one daughter, who is a Guide and who will also be at Poacher.  I was Sub-camp Chief  at Poacher 2000 and enjoyed it so much that I'm here again!  I hope that some of the 'old faces' from the last Poacher call in to see us at our H.Q. as well as lots of new faces.  

PAT WAINWRIGHT                                   - (Sub-camp Chief - Guides)

I am Division Commissioner for Boston and am also Snowy Owl as Leader of 1st Frampton Brownies.  I am married with one daughter, Charlotte, who is currently a Young Leader with 1st Kirton Guides and who will also be at Poacher this year.  This is only my second Poacher, last time I camped with a group of Guides from Boston South District and I couldn’t wait to come again!  I look forward to meeting you all.

Pauline Bates                       

Been a Guide Leader at 1st Boston Guides and attended far to many camps to remember!  I know what fantastic opportunities await you all and I cannot wait to see you rise to the challenges set for you  .

JAYNE MADDY                   

I have been Akela at 5th Boston Cubs for 7 years and involved as a warranted Leader for a few years before that.  I have one son, Daniel Papworth, who went through Cubs, Scouts and Ventures and is still involved with Scouting whenever studying allows!  I have been on many camps, both with Cubs and Scouts and have always had a great time.  This will be my second Poacher camp as sub-camp staff and I am looking forward to a very hectic, hard, but happy week.

TREV  MADDY                         

 Married to Jayne, I have been involved in Scouting for many years.  I enjoy the opportunity that Poacher gives to meet so many people from so many parts of the world and the vast variety of activities and entertainments on offer for them.

MALC  POCKLINGTON               

I am married with two sons and have been ADC Scouts in the Boston District.  I was at Poacher 2000 as sub-camp staff and have also attended many Scout and Cub camps.  The best part of Poacher to me is seeing the young people involved gain so much from the whole experience.

BRIAN YOUNG                             

I have also been involved in Scouting for many years and take particular pleasure in helping to organise local sporting opportunities for Cubs and Scouts.
