Lindsay Grant

I am currently ADC (Cub Scouts) for Kyle District in Ayrshire.  My former Scouting roles have included ADC (Activities) and ADC (Scouts) for Boston and ACC (Activities) and ACC (Scouts) for Lincolnshire.  My International Scouting experience started on the activity staff of the Blair Athol Jamborette in the 1970s.  Attendance at various Jamboree Cymru (Welsh Jamborees) resulted in “promotion” to Service Crew Manager.  I have been attending Poachers since the mid 1980s firstly on Sub-camp staff and latterly as Sub-camp Chief (jointly with Liz Kelly in 2000 – and we’re back again!)  My “day job”, to pay the bills, is as a Biology and Chemistry teacher in Eastbank Academy, an inner city secondary school in Glasgow.

My name is Liz Kelly and this is my fourth Poacher and the second as Sub-Camp Leader. At Poacher 2000 I was Sub-Camp Leader for Star Wars.

I am a Guide Guider and Division Commissioner in Lincolnshire South; I have attended International Camps here and abroad and recently attended the World Jamboree in Thailand.

I look forward to meeting many of you as possible on the Fantasy Sub-Camp at Poacher 2004.
