Camp Rules

1.               A high standard of camping will be expected and maintained.

2.               In the event of any dispute the Management Committee’s decision will be final. 

           This includes up to the exclusion of an individual or group or unit  from  the site.

3.         All Leaders will be responsible for internal and external security during the camp

  and for overseeing those in their charge.

4.         All Campers must wear their camp necker at all times (except when asked to remove

           it for safety reasons on specific activities)

5.               All suspicious incidents should be reported immediately to staff at the Administration Centre

6.               Lost & Found property should be handed in at the Administration Centre

7.               All vehicles must be parked on the designated parking area outside the site except those

           vehicles authorised for emergency or on site use. These vehicles will bear special passes.

8.               All vehicles are to display a car pass at all times, with appropriate detail completed

9.               Other than for emergency purposes a 5mph speed limit will apply within the Showground.

10.            All campers must be made aware of and comply with the fire and accident rules.

11.            Avoid disturbing others with your radio, tape recorders, walkmans etc

12.            The organisers accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles, equipment,

            personal property for the duration of the camp.

13.            All activities and events will be run in accordance with the Scout and Guide Associations’

           Policy, Organisation & Rules/Manual.
