Your Co-Directors  (Subcamp Chiefs)   are:   

Neil Mahon  &  Anne Pryce  

We each have over 14 years experience of running unit sections across all age ranges.  Neil is currently Mountain Activity Adviser for Lincoln District Scouts and has in past Poacher camps been responsible for off-site activities. Anne runs a Guide unit, helps with Senior Section, is Division Commissioner for North Lincoln and has camped at Poacher with her own Guides.

They will be responsible for sorting out all your daily activities from archery to parascending and even crafts.  They are all experienced Scouters and Guiders and are currently involved with Brownies, the Scout Network, Cubs and Scouts.

 Special Effects:      

Sarah Meanwell,        Ken Blake

 Ken, who has been a Beaver Leader, now helps with Explorers.  Sarah currently runs a Lincoln Brownie unit but has also been involved with Rainbows and Guides. She has been actively involved with the last 5 Poacher camps.  Their role not only includes the formal camp ceremonies, but if you have a birthday or other special occasion during Poacher week they are the people to see.

 Choreography:

Paul Stephens     Wendy Osgodby

Swot and Old Bag (as they are commonly known) are both Explorer Leaders.  They are in charge of the fun and games going on in the subcamp all week.  Your hosts will be out and about ensuring everyone, including leaders, gets to join in.

 Set & Location Managers:        

Pam Thompson     Andy Onion

 Andy is in the Scout Fellowship.  He plays in a rock band and is mad about Minis.  Pam runs a Lincoln Brownie unit and has camped at every Poacher.  Together they will look after the day-to-day running of our subcamp and our marquee.

 Extras Casting:                              

 Sharon Spencer   

 Sharon is a local Group Scout Leader and Akela for cubs.  A member of the Lincoln District Gang Show Committee and proud to be part of the Action/Adventure team.  She is looking forward to meeting you all.

You may also come across Simon Tindall, Richard (Fishy) Fish and Paul (Irv) Irving who will be the ones wearing the black and white check trousers and who will be the Catering Crew for the subcamp staff.  They are all Scout Leaders who just didn’t want to miss out on the Poacher experience.
