I have just spent
Tuesday and Wednesday
with my old troop, the
5th Worcester Sea Scouts

time work would permit)
and I must say what a
terrific camp it is .
As was said on the web
site everyone was
certainly having a great
time. Thank you all for
all your hard work.

Hey there guys,
I just got in from Poacher 2004 and I hope that I
speak for every single camper over the last week.
I attend many camps similar to poacher, however
none came anywhere near the standard of the last
week. Im writing this with a tear in my eye and my
necker still on. I really enloyed it so much I didnt
want to come home and am greatly looking forward to
the next Poacher.
My heartfelt thanks for
one of the best weeks of my life and please keep up
the good work guys!!!!!!!

Hi,
I would like to
extend a very big 'thank you' to all
those adults who were
involved with or supported Poacher
2004, without you all it would not
have been a great success. It was
an enjoyable and memorable
experience for
Alyson and I, so from all the County
Management Team. THANK YOU! We
look forward to your support and
assistance for the next Poacher!
Cheers
Ian

From the comments we are
receiving this really was “the
greatest show on earth” for all
the youngsters. So to all the
staff on activities who gave so
freely of their time, before and
during the week to make it all
happen, a sincere “thank you”.
To the activity team leaders, it
was a privilege to work with
you. To all the Scouts and
Guides, you are a credit to the
movement, your manners and
behaviour were noticed by the
public off site as well as by
the staff on site. It made it
all worthwhile. Finally to all
those “Horrors” you proved to be
the best junior subcamp ever!
Poacher certainly is an
experience that everyone
remembers and I look forward to
seeing many familiar faces next
time.

These
are the unsung hero's and
heroines of Poacher, many
working all day on activities
and then again at night in the
Bars. Without them, Poacher
would not have run as smoothly
as it did, and drinks , sweets
etc would not have been as
plentiful!!
Thanks to all of the crew (some
of whom are not pictured) for
making this a memorable and
enjoyable Poacher.

Dear
Poacher
Just a short note to say how much I
enjoyed my visit to your camp on
Thursday evening. I appreciated how
welcome you made me feel and how
much time you spared to show me
around when I know you were all so
busy. It was obvious that the camp
was a great success with a relaxed
and happy atmosphere. I am sure that
this has continued and that things
are still going with a swing.
I realise what a huge commitment
these events are for all involved
but I am sure that how ever tired
you all feel at the end, it will
have been worthwhile with both young
people and adults lives having been
enriched by the experience.
Regards and I look forward to
meeting with you all in the future.

National Commissioner for Scouts.

dHi
to all at
Poacherd
There is only
One single word
to descibe the
week we've just
had
WOW
I home in a
boiling hot
house and i
can't get my
mind away from
the sights,
smells (Not the
bog squad),
smiles and shear
amazement that
has over-welmed
me every minute
form the past
week.
I will miss so
many of the new
faces and
friends that pop
into my head
along with the
crazy, loony
dancing that
myself and
fellow leader
lizzie managed
to keep up from
day 1 right till
home time.
I was privaliged
to dance on
stage with
Robbie Williams
(Fake) and of
course he did
get pegged.
I sincerly hope
that the scouts,
guides and all
the leaders
cherish the
memories and the
pegs that
poacher had to
offer
I'm 20 going on
12 and i have
just had the
greatest week of
my life. May the
next one be as
special
my special
thanks go to the
Crew at Super
Heros(you lived
up to the name)
and to all those
that have made
such an event
possible.
May the pegging
continue in body
and spirit
hold onto that
Peg if you were
fortunate to
take one home
