Colin – the Cartoon Capers dragon

Colin the dragon soon became a focal point of all the Sub Camp activities. He lived in Toon Town (the Sub Camp HQ) but was soon led astray by the Garforth Scouters who took him to the bar!

Throughout the week camping units earnt Colin points, by doing jobs, being helpful, picking litter and entering the various sub camp activities. Campers kept their eye on the scoreboard, especially those from Garforth and 6^th Scunthorpe Scouts and Freethorpe Guides.

Before the Skiing points were added on Garforth Scouts were leading the points, but 9 of the Scunthorpe Scouts earnt their troop points by turning up to try and go skiing. This put them way out in the lead. Garforth tried

Hard to earn more points by entertaining the Sub Cmap team with Circus skills and busking for Colin Points – but couldn’t make up the difference.

Congratulations to 6^th Scunthorpe (Messingham) who were presented with Colin. The Sub Camp team hope that he will be happy and well looked after.
